Our Beliefs

We believe Jesus still saves.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.”

John 3:16-17
We believe the blood Jesus sacrificed is God’s provision to cleanse a sin sick soul.
“…almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without the shedding of blood is no remission.”

Hebrews 9:22-28

“In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace…”
Ephesians 1:7

We believe God exchanges new lives for old.
“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation.”

2 Corinthians 7:17-18
We believe God is still a miracle-working God, and He has commissioned us to do the same.
“When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick: That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.”

Matthew 8:16-17

“And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name (the name of Jesus) shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.”
Mark 16:17-18

We believe in the Holy Communion.
“And he took bread, and gave thanks, and break it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me. Likewise also the cut after supper, saying, this cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.”

Luke 22:19-20
We believe in the five-fold ministries.
“And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ…”

Ephesians 4:11-12

We believe that God is still God. He is a loving and all-powerful God.
“For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.”
Malachi 3:6
